Stephen Baldwin is continuing to take action in the wake of the massive oil spill that struck America's Gulf Coast region in April (10), by forming a rapid response environmental clean up organisation to aid disaster victims.

The actor recently spent several weeks in the region producing his new documentary, The Will to Drill, a film about the environmental disaster and its potential impact.

Now he's urging Americans not to forget the affected areas despite news the oil spill has been capped, because there are still millions of gallons of oil in the Gulf that could possibly wash up on shore.

And he's formed the Thunder Response Group, a rapid response environmental clean up organisation, to work alongside officials in Walton County, Florida to make sure new clean beach skimming systems are safe.

On Monday (30Aug10), Baldwin and County officials will hold an on-beachdemonstration of the Borco Last Line of Defense Clean Beach Skimming Systems, consisting of the 5300 Cfm Borco Supersucker truck, X Beach Vac, and X Wand Vac's.

He says, With the opening of a new airport in Panama City, the timing is right for all of us who can assist because it is only by continuous support and aid that the entire nation can help reignite the economic setback that this region has suffered.

We need to help those that havelost loved ones and had their lives devastated by this disaster.
