STEREOPHONICS DITCH DRUGS FOR LATEST ALBUM
Welsh rockers STEREOPHONICS were so determined to create a new sound on their recent album LANGUAGE. SEX. VIOLENCE. OTHER?, they ditched cannabis during the recording sessions.
The HAVE A NICE DAY band recorded previous album YOU GOTTA GO THERE TO COME BACK in a haze of marijuana and decided to head into the studio clean for their latest disc.
Frontman KELLY JONES says, "When we put the last album on it sounded quite fat, bluesy and soulful, and it just became apparent that with a joint it would sound really good because that's what we were kind of into at the time.
"On this album, I think it was just a different vibe musically."
