Salkind's Daughter 'My Dad Was Attacked in Mexico'

Superman producer Ilya Salkind's daughter has revealed her father was attacked during a recent trip to Mexico.

The Hollywood mogul has been found alive in a Mexican hospital, two days after he was reported missing.

Salkind, 63, flew to his native Mexico City recently to oversee work ona property he inherited from his late mother.

Reports suggest he left the house on Sunday (30Jan11) to "handle some errands and get some dental work done" - but he never returned and friendsfiled a missing persons report with Mexican police on Tuesday (01Feb11).

Investigators tracked Salkind down to a local hospital on Thursday morning (03Feb11), according to Tmz.com.

His daughter Anastasia tells the website the producer was "brutally attacked" and has strike marks on his head.

An investigation into Ilya's disappearance is underway.
