Teri Hatcher has dismissed ongoing reports she and Nicollette Sheridan never got along on the set of Desperate Housewives - by insisting the actress should land an Emmy nomination for her final episode on the show.

Sheridan recently filmed her finale, in which her character Edie Britt appears to die in a bizarre car crash, and Hatcher is adamant she will bemissed.

Her final performance was a fabulously written episode.

She deserves all the honour and respect in the world. "Her final performance was a fabulously written episode. She should get nominated for an Emmy".
