Thandie Newton Not Scared Of Living In London

Thandie Newton refuses to be scared living in London following the riots that engulfed the English capital, insisting she still feels "very safe" in the city.
 
The unrest earlier this month (Aug11) began in London before spreading to other parts of England, and were prompted by the death of a 29-year-old father-of-four, who was shot by police.
 
However, the Crash actress is not worried about her safety while walking the streets of the city and is adamant her local community is pulling together in the wake of the riots.
 
She says, "I feel very safe here. Everyone in my area looks out for everyone else.

"There's no need for neighbourhood watch, or anything, I've got my dog, Maggie, to protect me.
