Lucinda Ledgerwood was fired from 'The Apprentice' last night (04.06.08) - missing the chance to appear in next week's final.Instead of a weekly task, contestants faced a series of interviews from business experts, including Birmingham City Chief Executive Karren Brady, who previously appeared as a celebrity contestant in a charity version of the show last year.Branded "too zany" by Sir Alan Sugar, the 31-year-old later confessed she had been close to quitting on several occasions. She said: "I was singled out. People thought I was a pushover. I did cry because I felt I was being singled out."The other candidates called me lazy and said detrimental things."I didn't expect so much nastiness. There were times where I did feel like walking out. On occasions, it was verging on bullying."The boys paired up and I was an easy scapegoat but I don't regret going on the show. I fought my corner and survived to be in the final five."
