Jerry 'THE KING' Lawler has been listed as stable after suffering a cardiac arrest ringside during a live broadcast of WWE Raw in Montreal, Canada on Monday night.

The wrestling icon and commentator was given life-saving cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and hospitalised after he passed out while commentating, but now local reports suggest he's recovering from the health scare.

A representative for the WWE tells TMZ.com, "Jerry 'THE KING' Lawler is in a cardiac care unit and all his vital signs are stable".

Meanwhile, his ex-wife Stacy Carter has been updating fans on Twitter, revealing Lawler, 62, underwent surgery on Monday night and had a "stint and a balloon put in".
