Maguire Replaces McAvoy in Romantic Comedy

Spider-Man star Tobey Maguire is to replace James Mcavoy in upcoming movie The Details - after the Scottish actor pulled out of the shoot.

Maguire will join Elizabeth Banks and Pushing Up Daisies star Anna Friel on the cast of the film, a romantic comedy about a couple dealing with a raccoon infestation.

Maguire's a global name and it will have helped them secure the finance they couldn't get with McAvoy

Scottish tabloid the Sunday Mail reports producers are hopeful the filmwill benefit from Maguire's input.
