Tyra Banks' stalker has been spared jail and ordered to undertake classesaimed at those with relationship problems.

Brady Green, 38, was convicted of stalking, harassment, criminal trespass and attempted aggravated harassment in April (09) - a month after he was arrested in the vicinity of the New York studio where the former supermodel films her daily The Tyra Banks Show.

He was accused of sending 35-year-old Banks flowers, packages and notes, and threatening her assistant when she refused to reveal the star's address.

On Thursday (18Jun09), a Manhattan, New York judge sentenced Green to one year's probation and ruled he must complete a course entitled Project Sharp (Stopping Harassment and Relationship Problems) at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

He must also refrain from contacting Banks for at least two years.

If he fails to attend all classes or stay away from Banks, who testified in court against him, Green will be jailed for 90 days.
