Banks Sued By Former Employee

Tyra Banks is facing a lawsuit from a former employee who claims he is owed thousands of dollars in unpaid wages.

Richard Thomas filed the papers in Los Angeles County Superior Court, alleging the supermodel-turned-TV presenter failed to pay him $5,820 (£3,638).

The former worker wants the cash for "services rendered as assistant and advisor" to the star, according to papers obtained by Tmz.com.

The legal documents state Thomas must ask Banks in person for the outstanding money before filing the lawsuit, but he insists "I have not been able to catch (Tyra) while she is in".

The 22 year old recently confessed to lusting after the supermodel-turned-talkshow host, despite their 13-year age difference.

He said, "I love Tyra. There's something about older women. I've always had a crush on her. I was on her show two years ago and she made me sit on her lap and was rubbing my arm. I don't know if she was acting, but I was taking that very serious. I feel like she needs a young man in her life."

Bow Wow met up with Banks this week to tape an episode of The Tyra Banks Show - and she decided to play up the 'romance' by smooching him for the cameras.

The episode, due to be aired in the U.S. on Monday (07Sep09), also sees Bow Wow serenade Banks with a song.

On Monday (31Aug09), the former runway beauty dismissed reports she was engaged to wed her boyfriend of two years, businessman John Utendahl, after she was snapped wearing a ring on her wedding finger.
