Ukelele player, Bill Tapia dies

Musician, Bill Tapia died in his sleep at the age of 103 at his Westminster home in California.

The ukelele player was only four weeks away from his 104th birthday when he passed away.

The Hawaiian born star was believed to be the world's oldest musician, starting his career performing for World War I troops in 1918.

He played with Billie Holiday, Bing Crosby, Louis Armstrong and Elvis Presley in his ninety year career and also taught the instument to Clark Gable and Shirley Temple.

The star was still touring until 2010, and released his final album earlier this year.
