The programme also reveals the Beckhams did learn about scientology before moving to Los Angeles last week. When asked if Tom Cruise had converted them Victoria says: "I know a bit about scientology but he hasn't tried to convert me."

The programme - Victoria Beckham: Coming to America on ITV1 Tuesday at 9pm - also shows a light-hearted side of Posh. Wrapped in a foil survival blanket for an earthquake drill she refuses to take off her high heels. She quips: "It might be more sensible but it's about posture - even in an earthquake!"

It comes as she admits she's fed up with her glum photo pout. She told US chat show host Jay Leno: "I constantly look like a miserable bitch."

Posh then had the audience in stitches when she laughed at sexy pictures of her and hubby David published last week.
