Westlife Score 14th Number One.... Irish pop heartthrobs Westlife's return to the UK charts has proved a big success, winning them their 14th number one single.

The band's cover of The Rose shot straight to the top spot yesterday (12Nov06). U2 and Green Day's The Saints Are Coming rose from sixth place to second and was followed by All Saints' Rock Steady.

Madonna's Jump entered the chart at a disappointing ninth.

In the album charts, Jamiroquai debut at number one with their greatest hits Lp High Times, followed by kids orchestra band Angelis, Girls Aloud, Damien Rice and Katherine Jenkins at second, third, fourth and fifth.
