Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones want to make a third 'Men in Black' film.
Both actors are keen to star in the sequel, but other movie commitments are preventing them from having the time to make it.
Walter Parkes, one of the producers if the hit sci-fi franchise, said there would need to be a lot of work on the story before they can consider going ahead.
He said: "The challenge is getting the script right and finding a time when our busy stars are available.
"Everyone, including Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, wants to do another."
Walter has previously said he is keen to get a third film off the ground because he was not pleased with 'Men in Black 2'.
He said: "There have been some conversations. I don't think we did the best possible job on the second one. It would be great to pull the franchise back."
