The head of the clothing company suing Woody Allen has vowed not to bring the film-maker's former lover Mia Farrow to the stand - because he wants to avoid humiliating the star.
The Annie Hall director launched a $10 million (£6.6 million) lawsuit against clothing giant American Apparel after its bosses used his image on billboard ads in New York and Los Angeles without his permission.

American Apparel lawyers planned to bring Farrow and her adopted daughter Soon-Yi Previn - who is also Allen's wife - to testify at the hearing.
It was believed the company's legal team would attempt to prove Allen'sreputation had already been damaged by his controversial love life.
But the firm's chief Dov Charney announced on Wednesday (06-May-09) he has no intention of bringing the women into the courtroom.
Branding Allen a "source of inspiration", Charney promised he would never discuss the star's "personal life" during the trial, reports the New York Post.
