Xie Jin has been found dead in a Shangyu hotel.The Chinese movie legend was 84.The moviemaker was in the city to attend an anniversary for a school he once attended and when he failed to make appointments, hotel staff were alerted and checked his suite. The cause of death is unclear.In a blog posting on Saturday, actress Liu Xiaoqing, who starred in Xie's 1968 masterpiece Hibiscus Town, revealed she last spoke to the director on Friday as he was preparing for the school party.Liu said Xie drank some alcohol at a banquet later that evening.
