Xzibit In Secret Trip to Baghdad

 Xzibit has celebrated America’s Memorial Day by performing a gig for military members in Baghdad, Iraq, and he then flew over to Kuwait to visit wounded soldiers.

The rapper, real name Alvin Joiner, made the trip in secret last week and has called the trip a “life changing experience”

On his twitter account he made a series of posts on his Twitter  he writes, "I am the first American MC EVER to rock a show in #BAGHDAD, #Iraq army and U.S. army side by side bouncing, #GROUNDBREAKER!  "Taking pics with the Iraq army guys, they are BUGGING OUT, they have seen me on tv and can't believe I'm here right now. Locals here as well. Everyone (on Twitter) asking for pics will have to wait, due to the sensitive nature of place we are, I will wait to (sic) we leave here for everyones safety." 

And returning to the microblogging site as he began his trip home to Los Angeles on Monday (30May11), the star adds, "As we start our journey home this morning, I can say truthfully, this has been a life changing experience for ALL of us Made it out of Iraq in one peace (sic). In Kuwait about to go visit wounded soldiers in the hospital here on base. Then we hop a flight back to LA."
