Yoko Ono Slams Lennon Influence Slur....
Yoko Ono was so thrilled with the positive criticism of her 2007 remix album, she's planning a second one for children.
Yes, I'm a Witch contained tracks from Ono's back catalogue remixed by other artists. The 74-year-old has suffered a torrid time at the hands of critics, so she was stunned when they loved it.
She tells Mojo, "Initially, I was shocked. Now I feel very pleased. I'm thinking about a second volume, one for children perhaps. Including I Felt Like Smashing My Face In A Clear Glass Window - because that's how I felt when I was a child.
In other news John Lennon's widow has blasted claims she was a powerful influence on the former Beatle - insisting it was he who led her.
The Japanese performer was widely blamed for splitting up The Beatles, but she insists she had a limited control over the star throughout his career.
Ono tells Mojo magazine, "Despite what people always say, I don't think I influenced John much.
"But through him I discovered an incredible world. He was always dealing with the people of the world. That's a pretty interesting thing to do".
