Ashton Kutcher wants "a more stable schedule" so he can be a hands-on father.

The 'Two and a Half Men' star, whose fiancée Mila Kunis gave birth to their first child, Wyatt Isabelle Kutcher, on September 30, has reportedly told producers of the show that he wants to spend as much time as possible taking care of their baby girl.

A source close to the 36-year-old actor also told Us Weekly magazine: "He's been so helpful, chipping in with feedings, and he loves to hold the baby."

The heartthrob, who was previously married to Demi Moore, made sure he was very prepared for fatherhood before the baby's birth.

The insider said: "Ashton read the top child-care books."

The actor recently started learning Russian as Mila, 31, was born in the Ukraine, and wants their daughter to grow up speaking the language, as well as English.

He also helped decorate the nursery at their new $10 million mansion in Beverly Hills, which they have painted grey and filled with stuffed animals.

The couple have barely left their house in recent weeks, but are already planning to take their daughter to visit Ashton's family in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for Christmas, as his sister, Tausha, 39, also gave birth to a baby boy, Maxton, last month.

The insider added: "They've been on an adrenaline high since the birth."
