The Boomtown Rats star is set to marry his fiancée Jeanne Marine in a "small, low-key affair" at the church where they held memorial services for the model - who died of a heroin overdose last year - and Bob's first wife Paula Yates.

St Mary Magdalene & St Lawrence Church is also the venue where the late star married Tom Cohen - with whom she had Astala, two, and 23-month-old Phaedra - in September 2012, the Sunday People newspaper reports.

The 63-year-old singer announced his engagement to Jeanne soon after Peaches' death and his decision was defended by the actress' friend Jerry Hall, who said the family needed something to bring "joy and light" following their tragic loss.

He said at the time: "Bob has proposed. She is over the moon. Jeanne Marine has been a rock and a tower of strength over this. I'm so excited for her I am bursting to tell someone.

"Bob and Jeanne have been through hell, but they are determined something positive will come out of it. After all the sadness, we need something to focus on which will bring joy and light."
