According to the latest tabloids, ex - EastEnder Ross Davidson past away yesterday after suffering with brain cancer.
His partner Barbara said the actor, who featured as nurse Andy Rose was content that he had bought some time against the disease after being informed in February 2005 that he had less than a year to live.
Barbara who Ross married in May 2005 is quoted as saying in the Mirror: "He battled all the way - and was smiling until the end. He was a great husband and father and son."
She was alongside his mother Gladys and brother Jack when the 57 year old, who has an autistic son Drew, eight, as well as Barbara's three offspring from an earlier union - died in his Essex based residence.
