Hilary Duff is "not concerned" about being skinny.

The 'Perfect Man' star has admitted that she'd rather worry about her fitness and well-being.

She said: "I'm in the same struggle you're in every day. It's a tough question, too, but however it comes across, it comes across.

"I just tell myself, 'I'm 5'2", I'm really fit, killing it in the gym, and doing crazy things.' I love to work out, but I'm just not that concerned with being the skinniest person."

Despite not worrying about her weight, the 27-year-old singer-turned-actress has revealed that she does struggle to shed the pounds.

She told ELLE magazine: "I'm not a model; I'm an actress. I always feel like I'm in the five to ten pound struggle, but my life is so busy. I'm just not that concerned, really. I'm normal and I'm perfectly happy being that way.

"Some weeks I'm like, 'Man, my clothes are fitting so good' and then some weeks I'm like, 'I need to cut back on a few things,' but that's it. I don't fall into the trap of having to be 110 pounds."

Meanwhile, Hilary previously revealed that she had an "obsession" with food as a teenager.

She said recently: "When I was 17, I weighed, like, 98 pounds. I was totally obsessed with everything I put in my mouth. I was way too skinny.

"Not cute. And my body wasn't that healthy - my hands would cramp up a lot because I wasn't getting the nutrition I needed. That constant pressure of wanting something different than I had? I regret that."
