The 45-year-old singer, who was photographed kissing ex-boyfriend Casper Smart in Los Angeles last week, has laughed off speculation they are back together.
When asked about her relationship status, the 'Booty' hitmaker told E! News: "I'm single right now, thank you."
The 'American Idol' judge has frequently been spotted with 27-year-old dancer Casper since they split last summer after three years of dating.
But the choreographer also recently brushed off rumours he had reunited with the actress, who has seven-year-old twins Max and Emme with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.
He said: "We got a lot of ties. We're very close. We're friends. We're very good friends."
A source previously claimed the duo faked their break-up to create hype ahead of the release of her last movie, 'The Boy Next Door' and ignite rumours she was dating her co-star Ryan Guzman, 27.
Earlier this year, Jennifer, who has been divorced three times, admitted she used to be afraid of being alone.
She said: "I always found my comfort in another person. Instead of giving myself time to heal and be on my own, I was so afraid to be alone that I was always like, 'Okay, somebody else just come in here and help me forget I'm in so much pain.'
"When I became famous, I was surrounded by people and always had a boyfriend or a husband or some relationship, one after the other.
"I was terrified of being alone: the idea that we are alone in this world; we are born alone, we die alone - it sent panic through my body."
