The 'Dracula' star and his future wife Mara Lane, who got engaged in December and currently live in Los Angeles, visited his family in Dublin and Cork this week, and she admitted she "could definitely live" there in the future after forming a close bond with his "kind, sweet Grandma."

The film producer shared a number of pictures from their trip on Instagram, including one of her with the actor's grandmother, with the caption: "I love my Irish Grandma. We love you very much. Thank you for our goodies. #BestGrandma (alongside our one in Vietnam we will visit later this year) and best Aunties Deidre and Mary. Feeling super loved and blessed up. J has the best family (sic)."

The couple, who started dating in January 2014, appeared to have some car trouble during their trip, but Mara didn't mind because she was so enamoured with the country.

She captioned another image: "Even our car getting stuck was so gorgeous."

Jonathan, 37, also introduced her to his niece and a number of his childhood friends during their holiday.

A source close to the former 'Tudors' star, who has sought treatment in rehab in the past, recently credited Mara for helping him to get his life back on the track.

The insider told E! News: "They are so in love. He is in a great place and Mara and Jonathan really complement one another. He is healthy and happy and starts shooting 'The Damascus Cover' in January."

The couple jetted back to Morocco on Tuesday (03.02.15) so the actor could resume filming his upcoming movie.
