The 2000 bronze is back in possession of US Olympics and will be in Switzerland asap
Disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong has handed back the bronze medal he won at the 2000 Olympic Games.
The fallen star scooped the honour at the event in Sydney, Australia but he was stripped of the prize following his doping confession earlier this year (13).
On Thursday (12Sep13), Armstrong handed the medal back to Olympic officials and told followers on Twitter.com, "The 2000 bronze is back in possession of US Olympics and will be in Switzerland asap".
Armstrong has already been stripped of his seven Tour de France titles following his admission he used performance-enhancing drugs during his sporting career.
