The first screenshots from THQ’s South Park: The Game have been released, showing off what looks to be quite an interesting take on the turn-based RPG.
From looking at the pictures, the game will hopefully play something like an early Final Fantasy, and with it being written (in part at least) by Matt Stone and Trey Parker, it should be suitably funny as well.
The images show off a few locations that you’ll be fighting in, taking on a few staples that the show has become so famous for.
Look forward to fighting off the gingers, hippies and goths, amongst many others I’m sure.
They look like shots from the TV show; let’s hope it’s just as funny as the TV show as well.
The game, developed in conjunction with South Park Digital Studios LLC, is currently scheduled for release on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in the second half of 2012; I’m definitely optimistic.
