Britney Spears is set to launch a new social media app.

The 34-year-old singer has announced she will be launching a new platform, which will allow her to ask her fans question and build up a "connection" with her devoted followers who will also be able to interact with her personally.
Speaking about the new app, the 'Toxic' hitmaker - who has recently released her new album 'Glory' - said: "I meet like 30 to 40 people every night.
"They come in, I say hello to them, and we take pictures and they show me their tattoos, and they show me all these different things and it's cool. It's really fun. There's a lot of regulars that come back every week.
"With my app that I'm coming out with soon, there's a lot of skits and a lot of interaction with the fans where I actually ask them questions and bring them into the situation so we can have some kind of connection going on."
This news comes after Britney launched the iOS and Android game 'Britney Spears: American Dream' with Glu Mobile earlier this year, which allowed players to build their status to become a pop star, whilst Britney was cast as the star-maker.
Although the musician's forthcoming platform is still having the finishing touches added to the device, has already released it via the 'Britney Spears: American Dream' app, which will allow gamers to get a sneak preview of the app prior to its big unveil.
