The popular first person shooter game treated its Xbox One and PC users to its 'Absolution' pack recently, and it has now been revealed the next pack, entitled 'Retribution' will make its way to the PlayStation 4 next week.

'Retribution' will add four new maps to the game's multiplayer mode, including a map entitled Heartland, which is said to be a new take on the Warhawk map from 'Call of Duty: Ghosts'. Other maps are named Carnage, Altitude, and Depot 22.

Carnage is described as a "post-apocalyptic race track along the California coast" with environmental hazards and long sight lines, Altitude is a "high-end, sky high shopping mall located on the edges of the universe", and the final level, Depot 22, is a three-lane map focused on close-quarter battles.

'Retribution's content doesn't just stop with the new maps, either, as it will also bring players the fifth and final chapter of the game's Zombies mode.

The chapter, dubbed 'The Beast from Beyond', sees players trapped in a "desolate military station on a distant ice planet", before being forced to fight through hordes of the undead in typical Zombies style.

Players who purchased 'Infinite Warfare's $50 season pass will receive Retribution at no extra cost, and whilst publishers at Activision haven't announced the DLC's standalone price, previous DLC pricing suggests it will retail for $15.

As of the time of writing, there has been no word of when the 'Retribution' pack will make its way to Xbox and PC systems, however the DLC packs usually take one month from the PlayStation release to appear on other consoles.

If the same timescale applies to 'Retribution', fans can expect the pack in mid October.
