The live action trailer for the new Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare game has been revealed, and stars none other than recently-confirmed True Detective actor Taylor Kitsch.

Not the only one getting in on the action in the short film, Gone Girl's Emily Ratajkowski also features in the promotional clip.

There's a whole new level of power promised in the new Call of Duty franchise, with advanced soldiers on the loose, fighting their ways through enemy forces and discovering all new capabilities and weaponry along the way.

Fans are being given the opportunity to get involved in a special early access Day Zero, with a limited edition version of the game available worldwide on November 3.

Also starting at 12.00 GMT on the Monday will be the opportunity for gamers to play alongside livestreaming hosts including Ali A and MRDalekJD among other big names, showcasing their own footage on Twitch.tv.

A special Monday evening event will also give Day Zero players the chance to compete alongside celebrity fans from the comfort of their own homes.
