Game director Luke Smith has taken to Twitter to reveal fans can expect to see a number of details about economy, gameplay and investment updates in the very near future.

On Saturday (25.11.17), he tweeted: "Next week the Destiny 2 team will detail the systems side of the December update.

It includes: economy updates (vendors & acquiring their gear, tokens, legendary shards), investment updates (new reward systems for weapons & armor) gameplay updates, and more. (1/2) (sic)"

Luke also revealed both he and Bungie project leader Mark Noseworthy will be "addressing community feedback" they've received since the title dropped on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6, and on PC on October 24.

He added: "Additionally, @knowsworthy and I will also be answering some questions and addressing community feedback we've been reading since launch.

See you soon. (2/2) (sic)"

In August, Luke admitted prior to the launch that 'Destiny' players would be rewarded by being "remembered" if they purchased the sequel on the same format they bought the original 2014 title.

In a response to a Twitter question from a fan who asked if there will be any perks for those who played the first game and whether gamers have to buy the title on the same platform, he said: "You're going to enter the world a little differently to people who didn't play 'D1'.

"Will you need to buy it on the same platform for them to work? The answer to that is yes. If you're an Xbox player, in 'Destiny 2' on Xbox we will remember and show you that we remember when you boot up the game and enter the world. (sic)"
