The upcoming 2.5D fighting game, which has been developed by Arc System Works, is set for launch early next year, with a new trailer further teasing the title's much-anticipated release.

Android 16, Android 17 and Android 18 have all joined the roster of characters on the game and all of them make an appearance in the new trailer.

Android 16 and Android 18 are both standalone characters, while Android 17 can be seen fighting alongside Android 18 in battle.

All three characters feature in the latest story and the new title is set to be as dramatic as the earlier 'Dragon Ball' titles.

Last month, meanwhile, 'Dragon Ball FighterZ' also added two new characters, Piccolo and Krillin.

The two fighters were unveiled in an issue of Japanese magazine V-Jump, which also provided some brief information on each. While Piccolo and Krillin lack the power of the Saiyans on the roster, each one compensates for that with some unique abilities.

Piccolo and Krillin joined the roster of seven already announced characters in the game, which included Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Frieza, Cell, Majin Buu, and Future Trunks.
