FIFA 17 has been ranked players' favourite video game of 2016.
The sales figures are in and the data tracked by industry experts at GfK market analyst firm has confirmed FIFA 17 has landed the top spot, meanwhile PES 2017 only climbed to number 57
Following closely behind FIFA 17 is 'Call of Duty' in second place, with 'Battlefield 1' third.
The chart positions do not take into account the number of copies sold via online stores such as the PlayStation Network but there is a staggering six Pokemon titles and six Lego games on the list.
Most of the games featured sequel in the charts - with actually only five brand new titles in the top 50 best-sellers which were; 'No Man's Sky', 'The Division Steep' 'Overwatch' and Rocket League'
'Uncharted 4' sold well in 2016 and the rest are cross-platform game titles with combined sales on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
Elsewhere, hero shooter 'Overwatch' won Game of the Year awards across the board, after gamers praised its fresh approach to the traditional first-person shooter multiplayer experience.
