The open world racing game - which is exclusive to the Xbox One and Microsoft PC systems - has announced its newest DLC will be inspired by the popular brand of toy cars first made in 1968.

The new expansion will feature both tracks and cars taken from the toy manufacturers, with tracks featuring the iconic orange colouring and dangerous loops and corkscrews for which the brand is known for.

And it isn't just loops which feature on the new tracks either, as they will also reportedly be home to boost pads, half-pipes, big jumps, and other, cosmetic elements, such as a giant mechanical dinosaur which can be seen at the end of a trailer posted to Xbox's YouTube channel on Wednesday (26.04.17).

Players who purchase the new DLC will be able to visit six themed islands which are placed off Australia's coast, and will be able to take part in an "arcade-style" of gameplay.

A whopping 10 new Hot Wheels inspired cars are being added to the game for those who purchase the expansion, including one mystery Barn Find car which has not yet been announced.

The nine cars which have been confirmed for the game are the 1969 Hot Wheels Twin Mill, the 2011 Hot Wheels Bone Shaker, the 2012 Hot Wheels Rip Rod, the 2005 Hot Wheels Ford Mustang, the 2016 Jeep Trailcat, the 2016 Zenvo ST1, the 2007 Toyota Hilux Arctic Trucks AT38, the 2010 Pagani Zonda R, and the 1972 Chrysler VH Valiant Charger R/T E49.

The Hot Wheels expansion pack will be released for 'Forza Horizon 3' on May 9, and costs $20.
