The fourth of six episodes in the Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series is to be available from next Tuesday, May 26 on PC and Mac from the Telltale Online Store, Steam and other digital distribution services, as well as the PlayStation Network for PS4 and PS3 in North America and Europe.

Players on Xbox One and Xbox 360 will be able to play from Wednesday May 27 and those on compatible iOS devices and Android-based devices the day after on May 28.

Based on the world, characters and events seen in HBO's television series, in turn based on George R. R. Martin's book series, the events of the game begin towards the end of the TV series' third season, and end right before the beginning of season five. Familiar locations including King's Landing and The Wall will be visited as well as those we may have not seen before, such as Ironrath - the home of House Forrester.

Played from five different points of view, gamers will direct members of House Forrester - either direct family members or a person in service to the House. With each scattered across Westeros and Erros, they all have to come together to play their part and save House Forrester from destruction.

Episode four sees the fate of the family hang in the balance, with no-one allied to the clan safe. Rodrik is offered new hope to free Ironrath from its Whitehill stranglehold following an unexpected meeting, but with his younger brother Ryon held prisoner his next moves are critical.

Meanwhile, Gared's vows at Castle Black come back to haunt him when he's forced to venture beyond the Wall for the mysterious North Grove, risking his life in horrific encounters with Wildlings and worse threats.

King's Landing sees Mira stepping carefully following a royal death, and players must politic their way around with secrets traded as currency.

Asher infiltrates the city of Meereen far away in Essos at the behest of Daenerys Targaryen, but will this newly formed friendship be one that he can hold under such strains of a mission that allows bad memories to resurface?

Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series - Episode 4: 'Sons of Winter' is rated M (Mature) for intense violence, blood and strong language by the ESRB.
