A 'Gears of War 4' update has seen match bonuses increased.
A post on the game's official forum revealed the Match Completion bonus credits in the Versus Multiplayer have been increased, and the cost of the Elite Pack Credit has been cut from 4,000 to 3,500.
The Coalition stated on the forum: "Over the past few days, we've been looking at our data and hearing your feedback about our new Credits system. We designed the Credits and Gear Packs system to be consistently rewarding, with new content coming throughout your time playing Gears 4 and the ability to acquire your most desired Cards through our Card Creation system.
"After monitoring our data and hearing your feedback, it was clear the calculations that determine the rate at which Credits are earned were under our own expectations - and yours. Our Player Progression team have been working hard to address this as quickly as possible in order to improve the experience of acquiring Gear Packs. As of now, a new server-side update to Credits is deployed in Gears of War 4.
"The goal of these new changes is to provide a more consistent reward per match for our players, and bring the time required to earn Gear Packs - including the customization focused Elite Pack - closer to our expectations."
What's more, The Coalition has assured fans the game makers are aware of a bug which displays Match Bonus Credits as 0, insisting they are trying to fix it and if gamers go to the Credit Wallet in the main menu their true credit score will be displayed.
