More than 120 games have nominated over 20 categories and on November 17 gaming fans will be glued to the 35th annual ceremony, presented with OMEN by HP, at London's Bloomsbury Big Top, as the best of the year's titles will be honoured at the event hosted by Danny Wallace.

'Pyre', 'The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild' and 'Tacoma' all follow close behind with four nominations each.

Dan Dawkins, global editor-in-chief of GamesRadar+, said: "The number of different games shortlisted, over 120 in total, from over 65 different publishers and developers, reflects the fantastic variety of titles released this year across all the different platforms.

"Groundbreaking games bursting with originality and flair can be found in all the categories from indie games through to huge triple A franchises."

The categories are 'Ultimate Game of the Year', 'Most Wanted', 'Breakthrough Award', 'Best Indie Game' as well as individual lists for 'PlayStation Game of the Year', 'Xbox Game of the Year', 'Nintendo Game of the Year', 'Handheld/Mobile Game of the Year' and 'PC Game of the Year'.

Meanwhile, four new voted awards have been introduced this time round to show the way the game industry is changing.

'Best VR Game', 'eSports Team of the Year' and 'best Streamer/Broadcaster' are up for grabs, as well as, the 'Still Playing Award' for games that have kept a place in players' hearts.

Furthermore, there will also be the 'Outstanding Contribution' prize, which will be given to a deserving individual by the ceremony's judging panel.
