The 30-year-old actress is the latest in a string of stars who have succumbed to the appeal of Nintendo's smash hit smartphone game and has taken to social media to tell the world her hunt for the cute creatures has begun.

Lindsay posted on Twitter, "Getting started #pokemongo," and included a link to her Instagram account that featured a screen grab of the game congratulating her for winning a medal for getting five Pokemon in the Pokedex.

Lindsay's 'Pokemon Go' adventure comes just days after Justin Bieber was spotted in central park chasing Weedles and Charizards in the augmented reality game.

The 22-year-old pop megastar scoured central park on Sunday night (17.07.16) and Monday morning (18.07.16) reportedly trying to catch a very rare Hypno.

Justin is joined in his new Pokemon curiosity by Mat Damon's wife, Luciana Barroso, who has downloaded it and is going to "give it a go".

Speaking on the Kyle and Jackie O Show on Australian radio station KIIS FM, the 45-year-old actor was asked whether his kids were into the Nintendo game, to which he replied: "The kids? How about the wife!"

The 'Jason Bourne' star - who has four daughters, stepdaughter Alexia, 17, Isabella, 10, Gia seven, and Stella, five, with his wife -added: "I do know my wife's just downloaded it, she was trying to tell me about it ... I don't think she's hooked yet, enough of her friends have told her about it that she's going to give it a go."
