The Nintendo NX and the new 'Legend of Zelda' game look set to launch on March 4, 2017.
Fans anticipating the release of the upcoming console and 'The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild' have started to get excited about when the pair will be out after a new Amiibo Zelda figure was discovered on an official Nintendo website with the release date.
However, other Nintendo fans remain sceptical as March 4, 2017 is a Saturday which doesn't tend to be a common date for releasing new consoles.
It's not known whether the new 'Legend of Zelda' game will drop on the same day as the Nintendo NX either.
Nintendo announced the title of its Zelda game at E3 in Los Angeles in June, where the first footage of the title was revealed.
On the game, there is a focus on technology rather than magic and main character Link has greater interactions with his environment than in previous games in the series.
'Zelda' series director and producer Eiji Aonuma said: "In the previous titles we've used character or item names as subtitles. But this time we wanted to showcase the world of 'Zelda'.
"I've created this game thinking about breaking the conventions of 'Zelda'."
Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo of America President and COO said: "'The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild' breaks boundaries for the franchise and for games as a whole.
"Where you go, how you get there, the order in which you do it, and the items, weapons and approaches used to solve puzzles and defeat enemies are all up to you."
