'Powers', starring Sharlto Copley, which was exclusive to PlayStation Plus subscribers, has been cancelled after two seasons, series and comic co-creator Brian Michael Bendis has announced.

He wrote on Instagram: "Though powers the tv show is no more, the experiences, relationships, and memories were everything you would ever hope to have from something like this. This picture, though it doesn't include everybody, does express to me everything I loved about the experience. Happy, good, creative people becoming better at their jobs because of who they are with. I know for a fact I speak for everyone when I say thank you for supporting us and allowing us to have this experience. I know a lot of creative people follow me and all I can say is that I wish the same for you. The comic series will continue and for those of you who have never read it, and miss the show already, the comic is there for you in all its spender @oeming @justice.leak @susanheyward @azietesfai @loganlaurice @olesyarulin (sic)."

The show followed Sharlto's police officer character Christian Walker (Sharlto Copley) as he tracked down criminals gifted with supernatural abilities.

It was originally developed for FX, but was later moved to the Playstation Network in the US.
