VooFoo Studios and Publisher Ripstone have announced today the launch dates for the latest addition to the Pure series, Pure Pool.
Hoping to take hyper-realism to the next level, high-definition graphics and smooth gameplay should be expected from those picking up the cue and immersing themselves in the pool halls available.
Four single player game modes are offered - American 8 Ball and Killer being just two - whilst four challenges are also available so skills can be put to the ultimate test.
Full live online multiplayer is also an option as you compete against the best in one-on-one matches and in global online and custom leagues.
Individual gaming style will be tracked by the game - it monitors traits including the length of time it takes a player to make a shot to the number of balls potted in quick succession, hoping to create a unique and personal DNA profile as they play.
Some of the snooker, pool and gaming greats DNA profiles will be available for players to try and match-up against.
Pure Pool will be ready for launch on PlayStation 4 on July 29 in Europe and July 30 in the US.
Steam players can also download the game from July 31.
