The 'Big Brother's Bit on the Side' presenter made his debut playing the popular video game yesterday (18.07.16) and managed to nab one of the most coveted characters.

He wrote on Twitter: "So I'm really getting into Pokemon Go......

"And not to be cocky the first one I've caught is pikachu... Apparently that's good! (sic)"

Rylan will no doubt be the envy of thousands of Pokemon players all over the world who have, as yet, found Pikachu elusive.

But Rylan isn't the only celeb playing the game as Nick Jonas recently revealed his tour partner Demi Lovato is fully engrossed in the title when she's not on stage.

He tweeted: "Demi just seriously said out loud... "There's no f***in Pokemon here?! (sic)"

Nick's brother Joe has also got the bug.

He tweeted: "Rumor has it Mew2 is at Area 51... Road trip anyone? #PokemonGO (sic)"

Wiz Khalifa wrote: "I feel like there's Pokemon all around me and I just don't know it."

Blink 182's Mark Hoppus is perhaps one of the keenest celebrity 'Pokemon' player as he even changed his Twitter handle to "pokédad go".

Sharing a picture of a Drowzee, he wrote: "Look who showed up in the dressing room after the show."
