The gaming giant's full line-up includes 'Tropico 5', 'Table Top Racing: World Tour', 'Bionic Commando Rearmed 2', 'LocoRoco Cocoreccho!', 'Switch Galaxy Ultra' and 'God of War: Ghost of Sparta'.

Sony explained that the games will be made available across various different consoles, such as the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita, and the selection will be available up until May 3, when the technology firm will change the line-up for the month.

For the time being, though, games like 'Switch Galaxy Ultra' are available on both PS4 and PS Vita, while 'God of War: Ghost of Sparta' can be played on PS Vita and PSP.

'Tropico 5', the semi-democratic construction and management simulation video game, is the most well-known release being made available by Sony on this occasion.

Meanwhile, Shuhei Yoshida - the President of Sony's Worldwide Studios for Sony Computer Entertainment Inc - recently suggested the much-discussed PlayStation 5 may never be released.

During a discussion about Sony's next major console, Shuhei said it was a question of "if" there would be a PlayStation 5, even though the console's launch has been rumoured since the release of the PS4 in 2013.
