The 14-year-old singing YouTube sensation - who shot to fame with her cousin Rosie McClelland when they appeared on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' - has been chosen as the UK judge for Ubisoft's global video game competition, which this year will have a talent show format in France, UK, Germany, Italy and Spain.

Sophia is sure they will be flooded with entrants and the competitors will show non-fans of the 'Just Dance' series that the motion sensor game is a great way to stay active.

Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: "I love playing computer games so this is so much fun to do. I think the Just Dance World Cup will encourage kids to be confident and to be healthy and active. Dancing is something that is just so much fun, and the game is great. I mean, I've danced since I was a kid just around the living room and stuff, and I'm so glad I got into it. All my friends think it is really cool and kids should definitely enter."

Sophia has also been sharing her top tips for players wishing to enter, and insists it's important to stand out from the crowd.

She added: "I would say any type of dance is cool to do just make sure you are comfortable and having fun. But maybe include a trick, I love tricks because they look good. Like a cartwheel or something like that, so yeah be comfortable and be confident. It doesn't matter what music, I mean I can dance to any. I don't mean that like showing off but yeah any music you enjoy will work."

Online qualifications for the Just Dance World Cup - now in its fourth year - are open now and Sophia is judging the UK entries ahead of taking four British competitors to the finals in September 2017 where they will go up against the best from the rest of the world.

The qualification format sees each capital city will pick their four candidates during a series of European auditions organised on September 16th 2017 in Paris, Berlin, London, Rome and Madrid, in front of a jury of experts, with the support of the social media talent who will be at the casting. France will select 3 candidates during its auditions, with the final slot awarded to the winner at Paris Games Week.

To be broadcasted on a major national channel, the best candidates of both selection processes will secure their chance to participate in the National Final to become the National Just Dance Champion. Each National Champion will then move on to the final stage of the competition; the Just Dance World Cup Finals in early 2018. The worldwide champion will have the unique opportunity to participate in the next Just Dance, with the creation of their own map in 'Just Dance Unlimited'
