The 'World of Final Fantasy' playable demo is out now.
PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita gamers can get a feel for the new title and try out the "active time battle" system and take on enemies with a host of legendary characters from the 'Final Fantasy' franchise.
Final Fantasy V's Faris and Final Fantasy VII's Cloud both make appearances in the new demo, and there is even a reward for completing it.
Gamers who do so will unlock the ability to obtain Magitek Armor P in the Coliseum when they play the full version of the game, which is released on PS4 and Vita on October 28th.
What's more, in the demo players can raise companion monsters called Mirages, and upgrade Mirage Boards to unlock special attacks and skills.
Last month, it was revealed a new 'Final Fantasy' trading card game, aptly named the 'Final Fantasy Trading Card Game, is to be released in Europe on October 28.
It comes after a six-year run in Japan, which featured 15 expansions and saw 3.5 million booster packs sold with more than 2,000 different cards to collect to-date.
Square Enix revealed the first set of cards 'Opus 1' will be available to buy from October 28.
The game will feature 216 cards with iconic designs from highly acclaimed artists including Tetsuya Nomura, Yoshitaka Amano and Akihiko Yoshida, covering almost 30 years of the franchise.
