Make sure your nose isn't running this summer

We always wish for summer to come early, but we often forget about the pollen count and what this does to our nose and eyes.

Tree pollen season is predicted to start next week and with so many Tweets already indicating to runny noses and itchy eyes, it may have already started. I write as I clutch to my own tissue.

Professor Jean Emberlin, Director of PollenUK information, has provided some everyday tips for managing hay fevery symptoms:

  • Wear sunglasses when pollen counts are at their highest
  • After coming in from the outdoors, take a shower to remove pollen from your hair and body
  • Plan a holiday by the sea or somewhere where pollen seasons are earlier to avoid symptoms
  • Ask someone else to mow the lawn!

Benadryl have also come up with a solution to help hay fever sufferers with the launch of a new and unique liquid capsule format.

Benadryl Allergy Liquid Release Capsules are the first liquid capsule format available fro ahyfever. The cetirizine-filled gel capsules are absorbed by the body and work by preventing the histamine, which your body produces in response to an allergy, from causing hay fever symptoms.

No other one a day provides faster hay fever relief and just one daily capsule provides effective relief from the symptoms of hay fever, helping you carry on with life as normal.

BENADRYL® Allergy Liquid Release 10mg Capsules are available in supermarkets and chemists across the UK from March 12th 2012; RRP £4.99.
