Chloe Sevigny has revealed she is obsessed with watercress and eats the leafy vegetable as often as she can.

Speaking about her favourite things to W Magazine, she said: "(Watercress) is my favourite superfood. I eat watercress with eggs in the morning; on my sandwiches; or just tossed with olive oil, a little lemon, and some fresh-cracked pepper and salt."

The 'American Horror Story: Asylum' star also admitted she is very reliant on her noise-cancelling headphones because she hates to be distracted by other passengers when she is travelling for work and for leisure.

She revealed: "I travel a lot and cannot believe I didn't make this investment sooner. These headphones cancel out all the surrounding sound and allow you to hear new things in the music you've been listening to for years."

When she's not cooking with watercress or listening to music, Chloe loves to read and at the moment she is gripped by Andrew McConnell Stott's 'The Poet and the Vampyre: The Curse of Byron and the Birth of Literature's Greatest Monsters' which documents the inspiration behind Mary Shelley's novel 'Frankenstein'.

The 'Zodiac' star revealed: "I'm reading 'The Poet and the Vampyre', about the notorious summer when Mary Shelley, her stepsister Claire Clairmont, and Shelley's future husband, Percy, visited Lord Byron in Geneva. They were such radicals. It was on this trip that Byron suggested a short-story contest, and the seeds of Shelley's gothic masterpiece, 'Frankenstein', were planted."
