It's not easy putting up a Christmas Tree!

Over 1,000 individuals will finish up in hospital after hurting themselves trying to put up their Xmas tree.

An additional 1,000 will injure themselves trying to find a spot for the decorations and 350 will be injured by tree lights.

RoSPA is quoted as saying by the Mirror newspaper: "At worst, people are injured when trees catch fire."

It's thought that 6,000 individuals will require medical help after accidents on the Big Day itself.
