Summer is one of the most exciting times of the year; we feel more social, always going out and spending time with friends in the sun. However, hay fever can be the devil of summer and can cause us to have unpleasant symptoms. Here are some tips to help you prevent hay fever naturally.

Stay calm – The calmer you are, the less severe your symptoms are likely to be. Try to keep your stress levels to a minimum and you are likely to feel better.

Exercise –Regular exercise can help hay fever symptoms be milder. Exercising will help you feel healthier as well as reducing your symptoms.

Eat well – Eating a healthy diet will reduce hay fever symptoms. Eat a varied diet with plenty of fruit and vegetables to help you threw hay fever season.

Reduce alcohol intake – It is important to be healthy to help battle hay fever and one way to do that is to reduce your alcohol intake. Alcohol can increase hay fever symptoms and dehydrate the body, making symptoms appearing worse.

Get an early night – The most sleep you get a night, the milder your symptoms will be. Get about 8 – 9 hours of sleep a night and feel as fresh as roses when you wake up.
