Foods that are wise for your waistline


A flat tum can't be achieved through just doing 100 secret sit-ups every night in your bedroom. If you really want fab abs, you have to make sure your diet is in check too.

Bikini season will creep up before we know it so it's now that foods which make you feel bloated need to be replaced with fibre-rich foods, and it's time to get packing the protein to build a healthy metabolism. We've come up with some essential foods for a flatter tum.

-Green vegatables: low in calories, high in fibre and a good source of calcium, packed full of healthy nutrients

-Oily fish (salmon, tuna): because they contain omega 3 fatty acids which apparantly speed up your metabolism and promote fat burning

-Apples: full of fibre and make you feel fuller for longer

-Yogurt: containing probiotic bacterica encouraging a healthy digestive system which geets rids of bloating and flattens your tummy

-Blueberries (or any type of berries): super high in antioxidants which keep you healthy and energetic and are a good source of fibre

-Water: the staple of every healthy diet and diet plan! Drinking water won't make you feel bloated, in fact it's often the other way round, lack of fluids and dehydration can cause bloating so make sure you drink plenty of water to improve digestive system and reduce fluid retention.

Quick tip is to remember to slow down when eating your meals and chew food well.

You can increase bloating by swallowing air whilst eating and gobbling food down fast will slow down digestion.
