Far from being the business trip he claimed, Henk’s visit to the city brings with it some devastating news. The person that he’s rushed off to see is Dr Moore, who’s been trying to track down his patient for some time. ‘You recall you had some tests done when you were here?’ he asks grimly. ‘Look, I’m afraid your blood work showed up something quite unexpected. Henk, I’m sorry, you’re HIV positive.’
